2019年ねんに日本にっぽんでラグビーのワールドカップがあったとき、トンガの選手せんしゅたちは高知県こうちけん高知市こうちしで練習れんしゅうをしました。選手せんしゅたちは高校生こうこうせいにラグビーを教おしえたりして、市しの人ひとたちと交流こうりゅうしました。高知市こうちしは、ごみを集あつめる車くるまをトンガに送おくったこともあります。
