Sunday J-POP (Japanese Pop) – Fuyu Ga Hajimaru Yo (冬がはじまるよ) By Noriyuki Makihara

Sunday J-pop – Fuyu ga hajimaru yo「Winter is about to begin」

Another Sunday J-pop time! How have you been? Christmas cards started arriving. Apparently recently it was snow in Japan. It is already in Winter but the song I introduce today is called [Fuyu Ga Hajimaru Yo/Winter is about to begin] written by Noriyuki Makihara and sing by himself. It was released in 1991.

This harmonica reminds me a song by Steve Wonder [Isn’t she lovely]. The sound is so cheerful that it lifts me up on the misty Sunday morning.

The Japanese Lyrics and English translation

The below lyrics are extracted from Musixmatch so I will put romaji below the Japanese lyrics for you.
