The restaurant where robots prepare meals is opened in Tokyo

According to News Web Easy, on 20th a restaurant where 7 robots works was opened. The restaurant is next to the Haneda Airport and anyone can use it.

When a customer selects meals by a smart phone, a robot goes to a kitchen, heat a packet of soup or curry with hot water and put them into a container. They also heat rice with a microwave. Another robot brings the meals to the customer.’s table and put them back when the customer finish eating.

Kawasaki heavy industries which made this restaurant is thinking of making helpful robots at care homes or restaurants with a shortage of staffs.

On the other hand, taking inquiries from customers and taking rubbish away will be done by human beings.

The company’s staff said 「We will obtain opinions from customers who have seen the working robots and try to increase tasks that the robots can do.」
