A Japanese Children’s Song – 童謡 [Dokoka de Haru ga] “The Spring is somewhere” (どこかで春が)

I went to see the bluebells last week. The carpet of spring color was beautiful. This month the weather suddenly changed and it has been a bit chilly but definitely the Spring has came. Today’s song is called [The Spring is somwhere].

Dokoka de haru ga (The Spring is somewhere)

It is very simple melody. Hope you feel warmer inside your body after listening the song.

Translation

Dokoka de haru ga

Dokoka de haru ga umareteru

Somewhere the Spring was born/has came.

Dokoka de muzu ga nagaredasu

Somewhere water started flowing out

Dokoka de hibari ga naiteiru

Somewhere a lark is singing

Dokokade me ga deru oto ga suru

Somewhere a sound of bud

Yama no sangetsu kochi fuite

The March at a mountain, the east wind blows

Dokoka de haru ga umareteru

Somewhere the spring was born/has came.

Now let’s sing!

Hope you will enjoy this song with your childrenle and be able to learn some Japanese words! Please let me know if you enjoyed it or not!

THANK YOU Arigato
