Blu-Swing is a Japanese band and active since 2008. Actually this band’s genre is stated as Jazz. This song [Sunset] reminds me of Shakataku sound, specially its piano solo part. It’s jazzy, funky and a bit of city pop blended. Her looks is rather cool but she has an contrast voice from the way she looks.

My thought

I was expecting this song to be cheerful when I saw the title and heard its tune. It was not until I read its lyric have I realized how sad this song is. She is looking for something warm and be comforted by the sunset to heal her sorrow. Nevertheless the sound to me makes me dancing.
