In Japan, a new year is just like X’mas. Spending times with families and friends. During the new year Japanese eat Ozoni. There are various way to make, it all depends on regions.

Why do Japanese eat Ozoni for the new year.

When they eat Ozoni, they show their appreciation to plenty harvest from a previous year they had and wish to have a continuous harvest in a coming year long time ago. And that custom have been continuing until now.
