The anime film “Spirited Away” directed by Hayao Miyazaki is very popular worldwide. The story is about a girl who goes through various experiences and grows in a mysterious world where many gods live. It was a first play to be performed in Tokyo last yest.

According to a company which made the play it has been decided that the play will be performed from April to July next year in London. Just like the one performed in Tokyo, two Japanese actresses will act for a heroine “Chihiro”. Other actors and actresses are all be Japanese and the play will be performed in Japanese.

It is very rare for a play to be performed in Japanese abroad for three months. It has been drawing an attention that if the play will receive well or not by English people of the country where there is an old long history of plays.

The company said 「It would be glad that the heroine who was created by the director, Hayao Miyazaki, will be loved in the play as well by many people around world. 」
