According to News Web Easy, Many people pay a visit to a Nanzenji in Kyoto because of its attractive brick arch and an important cultural property.

According to the temple there were two incidents which a man offered to take photos and asked the money after that. There was a case of him taking photos with his camera and in other case he used victim’s mobile phone for taking photos. He demanded them to pay 500 yen to 1000 yen.

The temple has stated the comment on their website that [we never give anyone a permission to do such a thing] The temple is also warning people who visit there by putting a warning notice at the temple’s garden and asking to be careful.

A person from the temple said 　「It is very regrettable that people who visited our temple felt unpleasant. If anyone has a trouble please talk to one of our staff nearby」
