A failure of a Jellyfish – くらげのしっぱい

PART １

JUST few words before starting.

KURAGE – a Jellyfish

SHIPPAI – a mistake, a failure, an error

RYUGUJYO – a palace under the sea

OTOHIME – a youngest princess

BYOUKI – ill, sickness

TAI – sea bream

SARU – a monkey

Once upon a time, a youngest princess became seriously ill lat a palace under the sea.

The youngest princess was sleeping on a big shell bed.

Fishes looked after her very hard but the youngest princess’s condition was just getting worse.

One day, an older sea bream said

「I heard that monkey’s liver would be effective for curing her illness .」

Then an octopus said

「Well then we need to catch a monkey then.」

While a sunfish, who is caring her, is touching his beard saying with a vinegary face.

「How to bring a monkey here is a problem.」

When everyone seems to be in trouble, a Jellyfish came.

「You all look gloomy! What is the matter? If you have any problem just consult me.」

The sea beam looks relieved and said

「In order to cure the youngest princess’s ill we want to a monkey’s liver. Do you think you can catch a monkey and bring him here? 」

The jellyfish was surprised.

「What!? Do I bring a monkey here?」

As everyone relies on the jellyfish so he reluctantly said

「Well, leave it with me! I can do anything.」

The jellyfish found a monkey island and grinning while swimming.

「I have a good idea. I will trick him to bring him.」

A monkey was having a nap on a branch of a pine tree which is standing on top of a rock near the sea.

The jellyfish swam towards the rock and called the monkey.

「Hey, a good looking guy!」

The monkey has woken up soon after being called a good looking guy.

「Am I a good looking guy?」

「Of course. The youngest princess wishes to see you such a good looking guy!」

The monkey looked around and asked.

「Didn’t the beautiful youngest princess at the palace under the sea said that she wants to see me? Is that right?」

「That’s right. She is waiting for you with a lot of treats for you.」

The monkey can not stay still after having heard about treats.

「Ok, I will come down straight away. 」
