Sunday J-POP (Japanese Pops) – Hyacinth (Fushinshi/風信子) by Yuzu

Hyacinth (風信子)

The Sunday J-pop time again! Today’s song called [Hyasinth] by Yuzu. I have been reading a book called [Tonbiとんび/a black kite] written by Kiyoshi Shigematu. The story of a father and a son. Finally the movie based on this book has been released 2 weeks ago. The song is used as a theme song.

The heartfelt warm lyric perfectly matches to it’s melody. After listening to this song, your heart hopefully becomes warm and feel like saying to someone to “Thank you”. Let’s show your APPRECIATION today, right now!!!.

The below is a short trailer of the movie 「TONBI」. Unfortunately no English sub-titled available but you might guess its story. A father like a black kite got a boy like a eagle. This is a story of a father and a son who lost his mum when he was a young boy. The father has to raise his son by himself.

Lyrics

Goodbye morning, the flower of the single flower on the windowsill

It’s faintly colored and blooming next to you to watch over

“I’ll come again.” Looking back, the hand that shakes like a child

The way back to drop my shoulders The hand that stroked my head without saying anything

Sitting on an old sofa, what are you thinking in the sunlight through the trees?

The road that ran through The people I met immeasurable days

Glittering eyes reflected on the surface of the water

Alone, holding everything alone, always laughing like that

I want to give back to you if I can do even a little “Thank you”

The feelings that blew between the sky and the sea

Someday it will be destined to leave, become a pure white light, and return.

The figure that lived crazy for someone is burning in my eyes

Alone, holding everything alone, always laughing like that

I want to give back to you if I can do even a little “Thank you”

The feelings that blew between the sky and the sea

Goodbye morning, the flower of the single flower on the windowsill

It’s colored blue and blooms next to you as if you were asking

I’m fine. I gently grasped it again.

The way back to drop my shoulders The hand that stroked my head without saying anything
