これなに(何)? WHAT IS THIS?

This is called “Natto” Natto (なっとう)is a tradition Japanese food made from soyabeans that have been fermented with Bacillus subtilis var, natto. Japanese often take this at a breakfast. Natto usually comes with Karashi (からし) and soya sauce(しょうゆ). The left hand side is the “Natto” and on the right hand side are yellow mastard (からし) and soya sauce(しょうゆ) 。

“Natto” has very strong smell (くさい)LOL but I LOVE this!
